第１条　本規約の範囲

本規約は、インターネットを利用した「高校化学グランドコンテスト 参加者登録」（以下「本サイト」）の利用に関し、利用者と主催団体である学校法人芝浦工業大学（以下本法人）との間に適用されるものとします。

第２条　本サイトの利用資格及び登録の承認

本利用規約における利用者とは、高校化学グランドコンテストに参加する高校生徒本人、もしくは担当教諭であり、本規約の全条項を理解し、同意した上、本イベントご参加を目的として本サイトに登録をした方とします。利用登録の申込資格は、以下に該当する方とします。 １）高校化学グランドコンテストへの参加を希望する高校生徒、高校教諭 ２）本法人が電子メールにより連絡することが可能な電子メールアドレスを保持する方。 ３）電子メールアドレスその他、本サイトが定める情報を正確に登録された方。

第３条　利用目的

利用者の入力した個人情報は、本イベントの登録以外に、以下の範囲で利用します。 １）高校化学グランドコンテストの活動に関する情報、資料配信。 ２）本サイトのサービス向上や改善、新しいサービスの開発提供。

第４条　利用者情報の提供

本サイトで利用登録をし、本イベントへエントリーを行った利用者については、登録の際に入力した個人情報を本法人に提供します。法令の規定による場合をのぞき、上記及び第５条に記載の範囲以外に、利用者にご提供いただいた情報を第三者に提供することはありません。

第５条　業務の委託

本法人は利用者への情報提供を円滑にするために、利用者情報の一部をシステム運営会社及びデータ処理会社へ引き渡すとともに、その処理を委託します。

第６条　著作権

利用者は、「本サイト」から入手した情報は、本サイトを利用する以外の目的で利用をすることはできず、複製、転載、頒布、販売、改変、その他著作権侵害となるような行為は禁じられています。

第７条　利用資格の抹消

以下のいずれかに該当する場合は、本法人は、利用者に事前に通知することなく利用資格を抹消することができるものとします。 １）利用者が本規約に違反したと本法人が判断した場合 ２）本サイトより利用者に対し、電子メール等による連絡が取れなくなった場合

第８条　利用者の個人情報の取り扱い

利用者の登録情報に含まれる氏名、住所、電話番号、メールアドレス等、個人を識別できる情報を、本法人が別途定める「個人情報保護方針」に基づき適切に取り扱うものとします。

第９条　本サイトの中断、遅延

本法人は、コンピューター、ネットワーク機器、回線等の故障・障害やそれらの保守作業、または停電や天災、その他の理由により本サイトの業務を一時中断することがあります。

第１０条　規約等の変更

本法人は、運営上の都合等により、本規約を随時変更できるものとします。 その場合は変更後の規約を速やかに「本サイト」内に掲示するものとします。

第１１条　免責事項

利用者の誤入力や受信拒否等の設定に起因するメール不達などにより、利用者に損害が発生した場合においても、本法人は一切の損害賠償等の責任を負わないものとします。 本法人は、本サービスの運用に最善を尽くしますが、障害が生じないことを保証するものではありません。第９条に定めた一時的なシステム中断や遅滞・中止・データの消失、またはデータへの不正アクセスなど第三者の悪意により利用者に生じた損害について、本法人はその責めを負わないものとします。

High School Chemistry Grand Contest - Participant Registration Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Scope of the Terms

These Terms and Conditions shall apply between the user and Shibaura Institute of Technology (hereinafter referred to as the "Educational Corporation"), the organizing body, regarding the use of the internet-based "High School Chemistry Grand Contest Participant Registration" (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").

Article 2: Eligibility for Use and Approval of Registration

A "User" under these Terms of Use shall mean a high school student participating in the High School Chemistry Grand Contest or their supervising teacher, who understands and agrees to all clauses of these Terms and registers on this Site for the purpose of participating in this event. To be eligible to apply for user registration, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:
1.A high school student or high school teacher who wishes to participate in the High School Chemistry Grand Contest.
2.An individual who holds an email address through which the Educational Corporation can contact them.
3.An individual who has accurately registered their email address and any other information required by the Site.

Article 3: Purpose of Use

In addition to the registration for this event, the personal information entered by the User will be used within the following scope:
1.Distribution of information and materials related to the activities of the High School Chemistry Grand Contest.
2.Improvement and enhancement of the services on this Site, and the development and provision of new services.

Article 4: Provision of User Information

For Users who have registered on this Site and entered the event, the personal information entered at the time of registration will be provided to the Educational Corporation. Except as required by laws and regulations, the information provided by Users will not be disclosed to any third party outside the scope described above and in Article 5.

Article 5: Outsourcing of Operations

In order to ensure the smooth provision of information to Users, the Educational Corporation will transfer a portion of the User information to system operation companies and data processing companies, and outsource such processing to them.

Article 6: Copyright

Users may not use any information obtained from the Site for purposes other than utilizing this Site. Any actions that constitute copyright infringement, including but not limited to reproduction, republication, distribution, sale, or modification, are strictly prohibited.

Article 7: Revocation of Eligibility

The Educational Corporation may revoke a User's eligibility without prior notice if any of the following apply:
1.The Educational Corporation determines that the User has violated these Terms.
2.The Educational Corporation is no longer able to contact the User via email or other means through this Site.

Article 8: Handling of Users' Personal Information

Information that can identify an individual, such as name, address, telephone number, and email address contained in the User's registration information, shall be handled appropriately in accordance with the "Privacy Policy" separately established by the Educational Corporation.

Article 9: Suspension and Delay of the Site

The Educational Corporation may temporarily suspend the operations of this Site due to failures or malfunctions of computers, network equipment, or communication lines; maintenance work; power outages; natural disasters; or any other reasons.

Article 10: Amendments to the Terms

The Educational Corporation may amend these Terms at any time due to operational conveniences or other reasons. In such cases, the amended Terms shall be promptly posted on the Site.

Article 11: Disclaimer

The Educational Corporation shall not be held liable for any damages incurred by the User due to non-delivery of emails caused by incorrect entry by the User or their email rejection settings.
While the Educational Corporation will make every effort to ensure the proper operation of this service, it does not guarantee that no failures will occur. The Educational Corporation shall assume no responsibility for any damages incurred by Users due to temporary system suspensions, delays, cancellations, loss of data, or unauthorized access to data by malicious third parties as specified in Article 9.
